Like many of us contending with challenges presented by COVID-19, working in an online environment is a daily part of your life. And you’ve probably stared at your computer screen during countless web meetings and thought, “I’ve got ideas that could make this so much better.”
Now’s your chance to share your ideas in a brief survey that could lead to making web meetings, webinars, and webcasts more engaging, productive, and worth those screen-staring hours.
The Goodman Center, a virtual school “where do-gooders learn to do better,” is updating the results of research first released in 2009 on the shift to working online as a result of the Great Recession, including what was working, what wasn’t, and why. The result was “The Webinar on Webinars,” a free online class that shared best practices on making virtual meetings and trainings more engaging and productive.
The Goodman Center now wants to update their research to capture the radically altered landscape created by COVID-19, and improve their webinar offerings. And they need your input in a new survey created with the assistance of the Center for Public Interest Communications at the University of Florida, and the participation of many partners in the public interest community who share their interest in best practices, including Independent Sector.
