(WASHINGTON, September 26, 2016) – Daniel J. Cardinali, president and CEO of Independent Sector, issues the following statement:
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Julie Floch, Independent Sector board member and partner in charge of EisnerAmper’s Not-for-Profit Services Group.
Julie was a thoughtful and dedicated professional and colleague. Independent Sector, its board, staff, and member constituents all benefited from her leadership and guidance. She had a deep commitment to the charitable sector and we are all lucky to have worked side by side with her.
Julie served on the IS board for four years, including serving as chair of the audit committee in 2016. She was also a committee member at the Financial Accounting Standards Board, the Philanthropy New York, Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law, and an advisor to the Charities Law Project at the Columbia Law School.
We send our deepest condolences to her family during this time.”
