Everyday Democracy
Connecticut-based Everyday Democracy is a project of the Paul J. Aicher Foundation. Since its founding in 1989, Everyday Democracy has worked “to strengthen democracy by making authentic engagement and public participation a permanent part of the way we work as a country.” Check out their website for more information about their signature Dialogue to Change process, as well as resources on important society-level issues like racial equity, poverty, mental health, and much more. Everyday Democracy is led by Martha McCoy. She has served as executive director since 1995.

Marin Community Foundation
The Northern California-based Marin Community Foundation (MCF) is a grantmaking public charity that brings together the financial resources of individuals, families, and businesses to support effective nonprofits in Marin and across the world. MCF was founded in 1987 and is led by Thomas Peters.

College Futures Foundation
College Futures Foundation, based in San Francisco was established in 2005 via the sale of CHELA, a nonprofit student loan company. Today, it awards nearly $20 million in grants annually, and was previously known as College Access Foundation of California before adopting its current name in 2015. College Futures Foundation is led by Monica Lozano.

Goodwill Industries of South Florida
Goodwill Industries of South Florida is anaffiliated member of Goodwill Industries International, which focuses on training, employment and job placement for people with disabilities, transitioning individuals to independence and productivity. Goodwill South Florida has locations in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, and has been led by David Landsberg since 2014.

National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics
Headquartered in Alexandria, VA, the National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics (NAFC) was founded in 2001 to serve as an association for the some 1,200 safety-net healthcare organizations in the U.S. that make health care effective, accessible, and affordable at a local level to the working poor, uninsured, and underinsured. NAFC has been led by Nicole Lamoureux since 2006. Lamoureux made a notable appearance on C-SPAN’s Washington Journal in November 2017 to discuss the impact tax reform legislation would have on our country’s free health clinics.

The Annenberg Foundation
Established in 1989, the Los Angeles-based Annenberg Foundation supports the worldwide community through its grantmaking, technical assistance and direct charitable activities. Its initiatives areas include arts and culture, community and partnerships, education, global humanitarian arts and education, and nonprofit leadership development. Wallis Annenberg has served as the foundation’s chairman and president since 2009.

Weill Institute of Music – Carnegie Hall
The Weill Music Institute is the education and social impact arm of New York City’s 127-year-old performing arts venue, Carnegie Hall. In addition to giving young musicians opportunities to create, perform, and produce music, Weill Institute also leads different social impact projects. Collectively, their programs reach hundreds of thousands of people in New York City, across the US, and around the globe. Weill Institute has been led by Sarah Johnson since 2007. In 2013, Johnson was honored with our American Express NGen Leadership Award.
