New June 17 Deadline: Nominate a Transformational Leader for Gardner Award

Gardner Leadership Award, named for Independent Sector’s founder, annually recognizes just this type of exceptional changemaker – one whose achievements have significantly addressed a complex social challenge, and advanced the charitable sector’s ability to continue our vital work to build a world where civil society can flourish and all can thrive.
During this unprecedented time of challenge for our nation and sector — when the need for visionary leadership is paramount — whose extraordinary work exemplifies Gardner’s ideals and merits the sector’s highest honor? We’ve extended the deadline to June 17 to submit nominations for the John W. Gardner Leadership Award. We’ll announce the winner in the fall.
