Independent Sector and the Do Good Institute – Value of Volunteer Time 2020
Volunteers in the United States hold up the foundation of civil society. They help their neighbors, serve their communities, and provide their expertise. No matter what kind of volunteer work they do, they are contributing in invaluable ways. The current estimated national value of each volunteer hour is $28.54, up 4.9% over 2019.

Urban Institute: Perceptions of Discrimination and Unfair Judgment While Seeking Health Care
Researchers at the Urban Institute found that 10.6% of Black adults reported discrimination or unfair judgment by a health care provider or their staff based on race, ethnicity, disability, gender, sexual orientation or health condition, compared with 4.5% of Hispanic adults and 3.6% of white adults.

Fundraising Effectiveness Project — Quarterly Fundraising Report
Overall giving increased by 10.6% in 2020 as compared to 2019, spurred by an increase in new and reactivated donors. However, donor retention continued to decline in 2020, dropping 4.1%.
