Independent Sector’s business associate members are an important part of our member community. Business associates are for-profit companies, B Corps, or consultants working in the nonprofit arena, and their membership enables them to benefit from our expertise on developments affecting nonprofits, foundations, and corporate giving programs, and establish greater visibility and connection with those organizations.
IS membership for business associates – including law firms, accounting firms, and consulting companies – also enables them to stay current in areas that affect nonprofits — such as legislation, regulation, and media coverage; expands knowledge about them among IS members organizations; and demonstrates business associates’ support for and commitment to the charitable community.
