IS Member Exclusive Benefit
During a number of conversations this year with IS members about how they work, a common theme emerged. Many members have recently or are currently implementing changes to one or more aspect of their business model. As we learned more about the “why” and “how” of these changes, it was clear their stories would be valuable to others considering similar changes.
Join National Council on Aging CEO Jim Firman and National Council on Aging Services, LLC CEO Jay Greenberg as they discuss their experience in social enterprise – what it is in concept and in practice – and offer advice for how to incorporate social enterprise into a business model in order to address major social issues and “do well by doing good.”
This session will be broadcast live online. IS members in the DC region are invited to join us in-person for a brown bag lunch at Independent Sector’s offices – 1602 L St. NW, Suite 900, Washington, DC, 20036.
