Brenna Stroup is the former associate for public policy and membership engagement at Independent Sector. In this role, she educateed Capitol Hill staffers and IS members about policies that affect the charitable sector. Previously, Brenna was a production assistant at Gelman, Rosenberg, and Freedman, and served as a legislative intern with both U.S. Senator Patty Murray, and the Senate Committee on the Budget. Brenna has a bachelor’s degree in political science and women’s studies from Washington State University.
