D. Nicole Polk (N’kole) is a Triple Negative Breast Cancer Survivor and Mother of 2 amazingly dope sons, Producer, Director, Activist, Business Owner, Content Creator, and the Not My Son 2021 Community Humanitarian Award Winner.
In February 2019, she received devastating news in the form of a breast cancer diagnosis. This drastically changed her existence, but she never gave up on life #NewLifeWhoDis. That diagnosis drove her to create and found, WarriorQueen, her growing community organization that is dedicated to educating the community on Triple Negative Breast Cancer & Mental Health issues amongst Black Women and other women of color. She then went on to help found and become the Secretary of Suits For Judah, a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Corporation that is dedicated to changing the mindsets and lives of young urban Americans who live in underserved and under resourced communities through Mentorship, Exposure, Entrepreneurship and Empowerment. Being able to serve, share and engage with the community through volunteer work and a camera lens drives her to continue to do this work because I want to be a warrior for truth, peace, love, and understanding.
