Michelle Vallar is Independent Sector’s manager of conference and events logistics. In this role, she is responsible for the organization and execution of logistics for all Upswell-related events, including the Upswell Summit.
Prior to joining Independent Sector, Michelle spent eight years as a meeting planner and consultant at SRA International, a technology and strategic consulting firm that merged with General Dynamics, where she supported various clients at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). She has a bachelor’s degree in Politics from The Catholic University of America and enjoys traveling, social dancing, and following Washington, DC-area sports teams.
