Raynice Day joined Independent Sector in July 2022 as an Associate, Programs and Policy, where she supports several programs across the sector impact and public policy portfolios. Prior to joining Independent Sector, Raynice was a community outreach associate with DC Hunger Solutions, an initiative of Food Research Action Center, Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development, and DC Office of Planning. In those positions, she assisted in legislative advocacy that raised awareness, and provided resources through outreach, and partnerships that created positive economic and social outcomes within the community.
Raynice earned her Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a minor in International Affairs from Trinity Washington University. She’s currently pursuing her MBA with a concentration in Public Administration. She enjoys traveling, going to the gym, and DIY projects.
