As Independent Sector’s Director of Finance, Rhea is responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation. Prior to joining Independent Sector, Rhea worked as the Director of Finance at World Central Kitchen, a non-profit organization that serves comforting meals to people impacted by disasters quickly and effectively by establishing community kitchens and partnering with organizations on the ground.
Rhea was born in the Philippines and migrated to the U.S in 2002. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting. In her free time, Rhea loves spending time with family, traveling and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
